Preventive maintenance is the maintenance carried out on the electrical part of an equipment or machine to reduce their probability of failure. Such maintenance is planned and executed to ensure that to prevent failures and to reduce the consequences of failures.
Fault detection maintenance. It is carried out during or after a corrective maintenance action. For example, it is the case of a replacement of equipment components which have not yet failed, but which are used for replacement at the same time as the defective item is replaced.
